PEACHTREE ROAD RACE
ATLANTA – The
Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is the safest and most
reliable way to attend the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race
and Peachtree Health & Fitness Expo.

- Saturday, July 4, 2026
- Start time: 6:50 a.m. (wheelchair start – 6:12 a.m.)
MARTA RAIL
SERVICE
- Rail service begins at 4 a.m.
- Riders are encouraged to use the Gold Line to travel to
the race.
- A shuttle train will operate between Lindbergh Center
and Lenox Stations before the race.
- The Atlanta Streetcar will run from 8:15 a.m. – 11:30
p.m.
MARTA BUS SERVICE
- Pre-race: From 5 a.m. – 7:30 a.m., bus shuttles will
run between Lindbergh Center and Lenox Stations.
- Post-race: Bus shuttles will run from Piedmont Park and
Midtown Station to Lindbergh Center Station (last shuttle to depart at
noon).
- Many buses will be re-routed during the race. Visit Alerts for

- Download the new MARTA app to plan your trip
- Parking is available at 23 rail stations. Note that
parking is not allowed at Lenox Station on race day.
- Pay your fare directly at the faregate with a credit or
debit card, mobile wallet, or virtual Breeze card on Apple Wallet, Google
Wallet, and Samsung Wallet.

- MARTA Police and Transit Ambassadors will be out on the
system to assist customers.

RIDE WITH
RESPECT
Customers are asked to
respect the law, the MARTA system and each other while riding.
- No alcohol or open containers. Water is allowed in
resealable containers.
- No open food. All food must remain in packaging.
- No smoking, vaping, or use of e-cigarettes.
- No loud music that disturbs others.
- No soliciting, littering, spitting, or relieving
yourself.
- No fireworks, smoke bombs, or pyrotechnics of any
kind.
- No vandalism of MARTA property. Damaging fare gates is
a felony offense and violators will be prosecuted.
- No violent, threatening, or rude behavior.
