RIDER ALERT
Starting Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, MARTA is increasing long-term parking rates by $2 per day (from $5 to $7 or $8 to $10) and reducing the free daily parking in those facilities from 24 hours to 14 hours. This affects all paid long-term parking locations. Free daily parking locations are not affected.
The last time MARTA increased its parking rates system-wide was in 2009.
The increase supports maintenance and future upgrades to our parking facilities, follows market conditions, and moves MARTA’s parking operation toward self-sufficiency in the future.
