Peachtree Health & Fitness Expo 

MARTA will be at the Expo in the Macy's Parking Lot at Lenox Square. Avoid lines at the Breeze card vending machines by purchasing your ticket in advance at the Expo.

You can reach the Expo from our MARTA rail stations. 

Buckhead Station - Red Line 

  1. Walk North along Peachtree Rd towards the Peachtree Start Line
  2. Cross at the Lenox Pkwy crosswalk 

Lenox Station - Gold Line 

  1. Cross Path 400, East Paces Ferry Rd NE and Lenox Pkwy and enter the mall via the food court entrance 
  2. Follow signs towards the Expo and Macy's 
  3. Exit mall by the round-about and cross Lenox Pkwy

Breeze is the fast, flexible, secure way to ride MARTA and its participating regional transit services with buying options that fit your needs.  

Here are the ways you can pay your fare with the new system: 

  1. Tap a physical bank card.
  2. Tap a mobile wallet (with bank card).
  3. NEW! Tap a mobile wallet (with virtual Breeze card).  
  4. Tap a physical Breeze card or ticket.
  5. Pay with cash. 
  6. Exclusively available for purchase at the Expo – Round-Trip Race-Day Wristbands (limited quantities)

Getting to the Peachtree Road Race: 

Rail Information 

MARTA rail service will begin at 4:00 a.m. with additional service trains to move riders to the starting line. See schedules here

Lenox Rail Station 
Lenox Station on the Gold Line is the best way to reach the race start waves. You may transfer to the Gold Line at Lindbergh Center Station or take the non-stop SHUTTLE BUSES from Lindbergh Center Station to the Lenox Road exit via GA-400. 

Buckhead Rail Station 
Buckhead Station on the Red Line is open, and riders must exit the station on Peachtree Street. All race participants should ride to Lenox Station on the Gold Line for easier access to the start line. 

Bus shuttles will run between Lindbergh Center Station and Lenox Station beginning at 5 a.m. through 7:30 a.m. Follow directional signage to the bus shuttle boarding location at Morosgo Drive. 

AJC Peachtree Road Race 

Saturday, July 4, Starting at 7:00 a.m. 

Start:   Lenox Square Mall 

Finish: Piedmont Park

Parking at MARTA 

Free daily parking is available at 23 MARTA rail stations. However, parking is not available at the Lenox Station on July 4. Visit the Parking website for detailed information on parking availability and fees.   

Take MARTA after the Race! 

Southbound: Exit Piedmont Park near the Park Tavern onto 10th Street and walk south on Monroe Drive to 8th Street. Walk west along 8th Street to MARTA's Midtown Station. Midtown Station is a 15-minute walk from Piedmont Park. Trains will 'Load & Go' every 6 minutes. 

Northbound: Exit Piedmont Park on the west end via the 12th Street gate at 12th Street & Piedmont Avenue. MARTA shuttle buses will be lined up to take you to Lindbergh Center Station.  

Other Race Day Service Info 

Bus Information 

Bus service will begin at 5:00 a.m. and will run on a Saturday schedule.  
Bus Reroutes for Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race 
The following routes will be rerouted due to street closures: #5 Piedmont Road/Sandy Springs, #11 Defoor Ave/VA Highland, #12 Howell Mill Road, #14 Blandtown/Hightower Rd, and #23 Peachtree Road/Buckhead. Click here for bus reroutes. 

Atlanta Streetcar will run from 8:15 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.
