Join us Saturday, February 7 (12–3 PM) at Oakland City Station for a special edition of the Thriving Together Atlanta Mobile Art Experience, presented by the National Black Arts Festival and curated by NEXT in partnership with MARTA Artbound.
This free, public activation transforms transit space into a site for creativity, wellness, and community connection. Designed for rolling participation, riders and neighbors alike are invited to stop in briefly—or stay longer—as part of their day.
The afternoon features See Our Voice, a community-centered exhibit unfolding across both the Mobile Art Bus and the station, highlighting stories and photography shared by community members. An interactive mural led by the Moma Murrell Collective invites participants to help paint a collective image focused on wellness, care, and shared experience.
The activation also includes guided meditation sessions, BLK HLTH’s Thread Your Health interactive activity, music, light prizes, and refreshments from Portrait Coffee.
Family-friendly, free and open to the public.

Artbound Bus Wrap Program
In October, Artbound launched our first-ever Pride-themed bus wraps to help us celebrate Atlanta Pride. These MARTA buses were such a hit, we plan to do more iterations in the future with our new bus wrap program! Stay tuned for more info!
Airport Station: Equinox by Michael Jones
Artbound is so excited to welcome this landmark artwork to our public art collection. Patrons will adore this 70ft mosaic unveiled at Airport Station for years to come!
