THE FUTURE OF MARTA MOBILITY IS HERE
MARTA Mobility Launches New Paratransit App and Web Platform Powered by RideCo

ATLANTA — The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) today announced the launch of its new MARTA Mobility app and web platform. Powered by RideCo’s industry-leading software, the new scheduling and dispatching system goes live on July 1, 2026, offering riders a faster, easier, and more accessible way to manage their travel.

The modernized platform allows MARTA Mobility customers to have three convenient ways to book, change, or cancel their trips: through the new MARTA Mobility app, a new web portal, or by continuing to call MARTA Mobility.

“The launch of these digital tools empowers our MARTA Mobility riders to schedule and track trips themselves, allowing them greater convenience and flexibility with the paratransit services many rely on,” said Interim General Manager and CEO Jonathan Hunt. “And with dynamic routing, smarter driver scheduling, and a seamless interface that combines microtransit and paratransit, this technology is helping us deliver more efficient and reliable service.”

Modern Features for an Enhanced Ride Experience

Built on RideCo’s proven platform, the rebranded MARTA Mobility app delivers a suite of powerful features, including:

  • Real-Time Ride Tracking: Customers can see their vehicle on a live map, view driver details, and monitor estimated arrival times.
  • Instant Notifications: App users can receive text alerts and automatic notifications for trip confirmations, vehicle assignments, approach updates, and reminders.
  • Trip Planning Made Easier: Customers can book, view, and manage trips all in one place and enjoy a simple, streamlined experience from start to finish.

Greater Efficiency and Reliability

Beyond providing improved customer experience, the new software makes MARTA’s scheduling system more efficient and reliable. Routes are automatically recalculated every 20 seconds based on real-time traffic patterns, driver availability, and cancellations. This automated scheduling and dynamic routing reduces operational costs, maximizes vehicle and staffing resources, and reduces passenger wait times.

In addition to these new digital tools, MARTA Mobility customers will still be able to call in to make reservations through the MARTA Mobility Call Center at 404-848-4212.  MARTA Mobility riders can download the new app today from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Customers can book rides through the new platform beginning July 1. To access the new web portal, customers can visit book.martamobility.rideco.com.
