LET MARTA DRIVE YOU TO FIFA FAN FESTIVAL FOR
USMNT MATCH
ATLANTA – The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit
Authority (MARTA) will provide increased police and staff presence on the
system for tonight's FIFA Fan Festival, as the U.S. Men’s National Team plays
Türkiye (Turkey) at 10 p.m. EST. Centennial Olympic Park opens at 6 p.m. and
closes at midnight.
Rail
and bus service will not be extended beyond normal revenue service hours, so
festival attendees should plan to catch a departing train before 1:15 a.m. to
ensure a ride to their destination before the end of MARTA service.
Operations & Safety
MARTA rail and bus
service will operate on a regular weekday schedule with extended Red Line
service to the airport until end of revenue service.
MARTA Police officers
will patrol trains, stations, buses, and parking lots.
MARTA Transit
Ambassadors in white MARTA-branded soccer jerseys will be on the system to
assist.
Tap to pay your fare at
fare gates and validators with a credit or debit card, mobile wallet, virtual
Breeze card in Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and Samsung Wallet, or physical
Breeze card.
Ride With Respect
Customers are asked to
respect the law, the MARTA system and each other while riding.
- No alcohol or open containers. Water is allowed in
resealable containers.
- No open food. All food must remain in packaging.
- No smoking, vaping, or use of e-cigarettes.
- No loud music that disturbs others.
- No soliciting, littering, spitting, or relieving
yourself.
- No fireworks, smoke bombs, or pyrotechnics of any kind.
- No projectiles that could cause harm or compromise
public safety.
- No vandalism of MARTA property. Damaging fare gates is
a felony offense and violators will be prosecuted.
- No violent, threatening, or rude behavior.

behavior.
