ARREST H.E. HOLMES SHOOTER
ATLANTA – Officers with the Metropolitan
Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT) today
arrested a man for the Aug. 13th shooting at H.E. Holmes rail
station.
On Aug. 13, 2025, just before 2 p.m., the
MARTA Police Department (MPD) received a call about two men fighting in the
taxi pick-up area of the station. This violent encounter escalated to a male
victim being shot in the abdomen, and the shooter, 17-year-old Gabriel
Webb-Williams, fleeing through the parking lot before officers arrived. The
victim was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for his
injury.
At 7:45 a.m. today, officers with the CAT
saw a man matching the description of the shooter at H.E. Holmes Station and
arrested 17-year-old Gabriel Webb-Williams, who was in possession of a handgun
at the time. Webb-Williams was booked into the Fulton County jail for
Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime,
and Criminal Use of an Article with Alternate I.D. Mark.

in the apprehension of this dangerous criminal.
