EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF MARTALand THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

ATLANTA – The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) and its public art program, Artbound, invite you to celebrate the holiday season with a trip through MARTALand, and enjoy live performances, prize giveaways, and MARTA holiday swag.

Kick off the season at the 2nd annual MARTA Holiday Market on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at West End Station. Explore unique gifts from local vendors, shop MARTA holiday merchandise, sample free treats, enjoy special entertainment and surprises, and be the first to see MARTA’s holiday themed buses.

“Our holiday market is the perfect opportunity to come together to kick start the season and get your hands on our always popular ugly holiday sweater,” said MARTA General Manager and CEO Collie Greenwood. “This is also a chance for us to celebrate our customers and thank them for riding MARTA and supporting us year ‘round.”

The market and bus reveal are just the start of MARTA’s holiday events. You’re also invited to join us Thursday, Dec. 12, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at H.E. Holmes Station for a holiday customer appreciation event. Enjoy hot cider, cocoa, and holiday treats, shop MARTA’s holiday pop-up shop, spin the prize wheel for custom Breeze cards and swag, and bring the family to take photos with Santa, all while enjoying the sounds of DJ Sed the Saint.
