CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE WITH ALL-IN-ONE MOBILE APP
Incident Reporting
Integrated into the Official MARTA App; Legacy "See & Say" App to
be Decommissioned September 30
ATLANTA
— The
Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) today announced the
streamlining of its digital customer experience. The standalone MARTA See &
Say application will no longer be available for download or service beginning
on October 1, 2026. MARTA riders should now report safety concerns,
suspicious activity, and maintenance issues directly through the official MARTA
App.
By
integrating safety and security reporting features into the primary MARTA App,
riders no longer need to switch between multiple applications while navigating
the system. The enhanced MARTA App provides a seamless, one-stop mobile
experience, allowing passengers to access real-time safety tools alongside many
other helpful features for MARTA riders.
Customers
can now use the primary MARTA App to:
- Report
Safety & Security Concerns: Instantly
submit real-time reports and discreet photos or videos directly to MARTA
Police.
- Report
Non-Urgent Concerns: Report issues
encountered on the system, including maintenance issues and outages.
- Track
Real-Time Arrivals: Monitor bus
and rail schedules with live vehicle tracking and arrival predictions.
- Plan
Trips Across the Region:
Map out routes using integrated multimodal transit options.
- Access
Service Alerts: Receive immediate notifications
regarding delays, detours, and elevator or escalator outages.
“The
safety of our customers and our employees remains our top priority,” said MARTA
General Manager and CEO Jonathan Hunt. “Consolidating our reporting tools into
one MARTA App makes it faster and more convenient for passengers to connect
with safety personnel, while also managing their daily commute, all in one
place. It’s all part of our effort to improve the overall customer experience
for MARTA riders.”
Customers
who currently have the legacy See & Say app installed on their mobile
devices are encouraged to delete it and download
the official MARTA App, available for free on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
In addition to the app, customers
can continue to report security concerns by calling MARTA Police directly at
404-848-4911, texting 1-877-371-8477, or by informing any MARTA staff member or
police officer on-site.
