MARTA
HOSTS PUBLIC MEETINGS TO PROVIDE UPDATE ON STREETCAR EAST EXTENSION PROJECT
ATLANTA - The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid
Transit Authority (MARTA), in partnership with the City of Atlanta and Atlanta
BeltLine, Inc., will host in-person and virtual public meetings to provide
updates on the Streetcar East Extension project on Monday, Sept. 12 and
Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 6 p.m.
The project is the first extension of the
Atlanta Streetcar, that when complete will provide service from
Jackson St. at Edgewood Ave. to the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Corridor from
Irwin St. to Ponce de Leon Ave.

The venue is a short walk from MARTA bus
route 809, the Atlanta Streetcar King Historic District station, and the
Atlanta BeltLine Eastside trail. Limited parking is available across the street
from the venue. Please note face masks are required and attendees must
check in at the front desk upon arrival.
