ANNOUNCES BUS DETOURS AND RAPID A-LINE SUSPENSION DURING “MOVE
FOR GRADY” EVENT
ATLANTA – The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA)
will implement temporary service changes to accommodate the annual Move for
Grady event on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Starting at 7:30 a.m. and continuing until the event’s conclusion,
several bus routes will be detoured. Additionally, due to extensive road
closures, service on the Rapid A-Line will be suspended for the duration of the
event.
Affected Bus Routes
To maintain service while navigating road closures, the following
routes will operate on detours:
- 3 – Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.
- 7 – Boulevard / McDonough Blvd.
- 10 – AUC / Hollywood Rd.
- 20 – South Dekalb / Downtown Atlanta
- 21 – Memorial Drive
- 22 – Glenwood
- 42 – McDaniel Street
- 49 – McDonough Blvd / Hill Street
- 55 – Jonesboro Road
