Bus Reveal and Pride Parade
ATLANTA – The Metropolitan
Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is celebrating Atlanta Pride by
recognizing the LGBTQ+ community across Atlanta and within MARTA. Whether you
are attending MARTA’s bus reveal event or this Sunday’s parade, MARTA
encourages everyone to skip the traffic and Let MARTA Drive.
MARTA PRIDE BUS REVEAL
Kick
off Atlanta Pride Weekend with MARTA’s interactive Pride Bus Viewing and
Announcement Event. MARTA has partnered with local artists to create custom
artistic bus wraps, and the community was invited to vote on their favorite
design.

LET
MARTA DRIVE TO THE ATLANTA PRIDE PARADE
MARTA
is the safest, most efficient way to travel to the Atlanta Pride Parade on
Sunday.
- Parade Date & Time: Sunday, October 11, 2026
- Nearest Rail Station:Civic Center Station provides direct, convenient access to the
parade route.
- MARTA Pride Bus:
Look out for MARTA’s winning custom-wrapped Pride bus as it marches in the
parade alongside MARTA employee volunteers.

BEFORE YOU GO:
- Access the trip

plan your trip
- Check rail station parking availability.
- Due to construction, Five Points Station may be
accessed on Forsyth and Peachtree Streets only. Restrooms and customer
services at Five Points are temporarily closed.
KEEPING
YOU SAFE:
As it does for all large events, MARTA will have extra staff and safety
measures in place throughout the weekend.
- Crowd metering at high-ridership stations with
barricades and signs reminding customers to keep distance and board
escalators one at a time.
- Station staff and MARTA police at high ridership
locations to help manage crowds.
- Escalator and elevator teams from MARTA and
Schindler at stations and in the Emergency Operations Center, ready to
respond if needed.
- EMS personnel at key stations to provide immediate
medical support.
RIDER
ETIQUETTE – RIDE WITH RESPECT:
- Stand clear of train doors and allow riders to exit
before boarding.
- Board escalators one at a time and hold the handrail.
- Keep bags, strollers, and costumes clear of train
doors.
- Follow staff instructions and be patient during high
ridership events.
- Respect fellow riders by practicing Ride with Respect
so everyone can enjoy the weekend safely.
