MARTA IS HIRING: RAIL OPERATORS, BUS
OPERATORS, ET RAIL CAR MAINTENANCE, TRACK MAINTAINERS, EP&E AND BUS
TECHNICIANS
ATLANTA - The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA)
will hold a job fair for rail operators, bus operators, ET rail car
maintenance, track maintainers, EP&E and bus technicians on Thursday, Aug.
20, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at MARTA headquarters, located across from
the Lindbergh Center rail station on Piedmont Road in Atlanta. MARTA is
offering a sign-on bonus to CDL Bus Operators (with passenger endorsement) and
Journeyman Track Maintainers.

BUS
AND RAIL OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS:
- CDL
and CDL permit holders only
- Seeking full-time and part-time
operators.
- Must be 21 or older.
- Must have high school diploma
or equivalent.
- Must have current Class C
(regular) license.
- Must pass physical exam and
ability test, and drug/alcohol screening.
Applicants
are encouraged to ride MARTA to the event. The job fair will be held at MARTA
headquarters, which is located across the street from Lindbergh Center Station.
Parking
instructions:
- Park in the Sydney Marcus
parking deck.
- Make sure to park on the MARTA
designated area of the deck.
- Avoid parking in the deck
directly across from the outdoor lot.
- Parking fee can be up to $8.
