Construction, Service Impacts, & Station Status

Construction & Service Impacts
Better Breeze fare equipment is being installed in phases systemwide to maintain access to all stations. During construction:
- Rail and bus service is unchanged.
- Construction to install the new faregates may change the way customers can enter/exit stations across the system. Pay special attention to signage and announcements at rail stations.
- New faregates may be installed, but they will not be ready for use until the transition begins March 28, 2026. Faregate construction will continue during the transition period.

Upcoming Station Construction
Starting Friday, April 17, 2026 – West End Station: North faregates closed for construction.
Use emergency gate at north end or new, open south faregates.
Starting Monday, April 20, 2026 – Vine City Station: East faregates closed for construction.
Use new, west faregates (facing away from stadium).

Station Construction Status
West End Station: South faregates closed
Use north faregates. Customers who park in the south lot should follow signs on either side of the station to reach the north faregates. Please allow three extra minutes.
New Ticket Vending Machines
The following stations have new ticket vending machines available to purchase new orange Breeze cards and tickets:
- Airport
- Ashby
- Doraville
- Dunwoody
- Georgia State
- Lindbergh
- SEC District
- Vine City
- West End
More ticket vending machines will become available in the coming weeks.
