Five Points Station

Five Points Station is located near Atlanta’s zero-mile marker, the historic point where five streets once met. Since 1979, Five Points has been the heart of downtown Atlanta and the central transfer point for all four of MARTA’s heavy rail lines (Red, Gold, Blue, and Green). The station also serves seven bus routes, including the Rapid A-Line. 

The station is surrounded by government buildings, office towers, hotels, restaurants, and tourist destinations, making it a central hub for both work and play. 

Please note that restrooms and Customer Services are not currently open at Five Points during construction until further notice.

Reimagine Five Points

Two Projects, One Station (Transformation and Station Rehabilitation) 

MARTA is transforming Five Points Station through two major efforts.  

Station Rehabilitation Project 

• Status: Complete. 
• Features: Station Rehabilitation focused on renovating both the East-West and
  North-South platform levels below the street level to enhance safety and improve customer experience.

Five Points Station Transformation Project  

• Status: Construction. 
• Features:  In collaboration with the City of Atlanta through the MoreMARTA program, Five Points Transformation is reimagining the station above ground, replacing the 50-plus-year-old canopy, creating a more centralized bus hub, improving pedestrian connections, and adding new public spaces, amenities, and art to create a vibrant, welcoming city center.
