RIDER ALERT:
Peachtree Center’s restrooms are closed until late May for installation of new smart restrooms. Use restrooms at nearby stations to the north (Civic Center, North Avenue, Midtown) or the south (West End). Click here to learn more about MARTA's Smart Restroom Program.
All station entrances are now OPEN.

Current Status
The first wave of construction began in February 2026 and is scheduled for completion in late May 2026.
Necessary phased entrance closures are complete as of May 11, 2026. Work continues on the platform and concourse levels through the end of May, but rail service is unchanged.
Future rehabilitation work is planned at Peachtree Center and information will be shared once available.

Project Overview
As a part of MARTA’s ongoing Station Rehabilitation Program to renovate all 38 rail stations, Peachtree Center Station is being renovated to enhance station functionality, cleanliness, and design.
Project features:
- Escalator repairs
- Granite repairs
- Pressure washing
- Deep cleaning
- Repainting with a graffiti-resistant coating
- Drain cover replacement
- Replacement of damaged platform tiles
- Full replacement of restrooms with “smart” remote access, new fixtures, and surfaces that are easier to clean.
