Back in the early 2000’s, our “Next Train” signs
were considered state-of-the-art. But now… they just need to be replaced.
MARTA’s next generation signs for 2017 will feature:
- Improved real-time “NEXT TRAIN” information
- New! Providing REAL-TIME MARTA BUS &
REGIONAL BUS ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES for each station
- Better EMERGENCY SITUATION INFORMATION to inform customers in either a single station or group of stations
- Improved ADA ACCESSIBLE information
- ADDING MANY MORE SIGNS in our stations, bus loops, and concourse and platform areas
- PA Announcements synchronized to Alerts and MARTA Videos on signs to support both Audio and Visual communication
- STREAMING WEATHER & NEWS REPORTS
