Streetcar Mean Distance Between Failures

Definition: Measures the mean distance (total mileage) between mechanical failures reportable to National Transit Database.

Performance (January 2026):

Streetcar mean distance between failures (MDBF) was 5032 in January 2026, which met the target of 2,700 miles or more.

Note: Due to utility repair work along the streetcar alignment, streetcar service was temporarily suspended starting in September. In the meantime, shuttle vans are servicing all streetcar stops. Streetcar KPIs during the service suspension are based on the shuttle operating statistics.
