Overview
As part of MARTA 2040 and its Capital Improvement Program, MARTA is excited to begin renovating the H.E. Holmes Station. Once completed, the project will provide a safer, more comfortable station for MARTA users. With better lighting, a smoother platform and parking lot, new bathrooms, and improved directional signage, the project will result in an overall better transit experience. Additionally, in conjunction with the station area master plan project, the station will become a more connected central community hub for the neighborhood. Future development on H.E. Holmes will continue through MARTA’s Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) program and masterplan. For more information, visit
