Mobility Mean Distance Between Failures

Definition: Measures the mean distance (actual vehicle miles) between mechanical failures reportable to National Transit Database, i.e., those precluding a vehicle from completing its trip or starting its next scheduled trip. 

Performance (September 2025):

The mobility mean distance between failures in September 2025 was 16,413 which met the target of 15,000 miles or more.
