Rail On-Time Performance

Definition: Measures how closely the service ran to schedule. Departures from origin and arrivals to destination are considered on time if made no longer than 5 minutes after the scheduled time.

Performance (April 2018):

In April, met the Target; the actual being 97.68%. 176 delays were related to rail car failures, 81 delays were passenger related (medical emergencies/door obstructions/police interventions), 60 delays were caused by Automated Train Control (ATC) issues, and 49 delays were due to track work.
