MARTA offers many options for the local resident as well as for visitors from all over the world. Listed below are the standard fares and other special programs available (distributed through Program Administrator only). Fare is available on a Breeze Card in addition to the cost of fare.
Effective October 2, 2011 the cost of a single fare/one way will go from $2.00 to $2.50.
In addition, effective October 2, 2011 Breeze Tickets will no longer be sold at MARTA Ride Stores or Breeze Vending Machines. Breeze Tickets will continue to be distribute through Group Sales Programs, K-12 Program and special events. Tickets will continue to be accepted as valid fare media on Bus and Rail.

Important things to remember about transfers:
- All customers are required to have a valid Breeze Card loaded with appropriate fare to ride MARTA.
- Transfers are only available on a Breeze Card and are automatically loaded when you tap to board a bus or exit a rail station.
- If you pay with cash you will need to load your fare onto a Breeze Card to receive your transfer.
- Transfers cannot be used for round-trip travel.
- You are allowed 4 transfers within a 3-hour period.
