How Do You MARTA?
Bakari shares the way he uses MARTA to commute from his job to home using a combination of bus and train. Bakari uses the MARTA On The Go app to track his bus with real time arrivals. Bakari chose to give up his car and depend on transit for more of his commuting around town. Along the way he stops for groceries at the Publix store in Midtown, and then takes the train back to Arts Center Station, where he can relax on his balcony and watch the congested traffic below on the Connector. Bakari also enjoys using the Rt. 37 bus at Arts Center Station to load his bike on the front of the bus and take it to the Whetstone Creek Trail.
