Key Performance Indicators

Definition: Measures the number of Part 1 Crimes, which includes four violent crimes (Homicide, Forcible Rape, Aggravated Assault, and Robbery) and four property crimes (Larceny/Theft, Motor Vehicle Theft, Burglary, and Arson) per one million unlinked passenger boardings.

Performance (January 2017):

 In January, met the Target; the actual being 2.99 - mostly due to a 14% decrease in the number of Aggravated Assault related crimes, 11% decrease in that related to Larceny and 75% decrease in that related to Motor Vehicle crimes. The overall number of Part I Crimes fell by 3% compared to the previous month.
