Key Performance Indicators

Definition: Measures the number of Part 1 Crimes, including four violent crimes (Homicide, Forcible Rape, Aggravated Assault, and Robbery) and four property crimes (Larceny/Theft, Motor Vehicle Theft, Burglary, and Arson) per one million unlinked passenger boardings.

Performance (October 2017):

In October, met the Target; the actual being 3.99. There was an increase in robbery related crimes (from 3 in September to 5 in October), as well as that in larceny related crimes (from 12 in September to 25 in October) and that in motor vehicle theft related crimes (from 2 in September to 7 in October). The overall number of Part I Crimes increased by 55% from 29 in September to 45 in October.
