Rail On-Time Performance

Definition: Measures how closely the service ran to schedule. Departures from origin and arrivals to destination are considered on time if made no longer than 5 minutes after the scheduled time.

Performance (February 2018):

In February, met the Target; the actual being 97.45%. 157 delays were related to rail car failures, 147 delays were passenger related (medical emergencies/door obstructions/police interventions), 32 delays were related to Automated Train Control (ATC) issues and 28 delays were related to track work.
