Definition: An industry standard that
measures the reliability of the service (i.e., lost and delayed trips).
MARTA strives to come as close as possible to operating every scheduled
trip on every day by having enough operators, well-maintained vehicles
and track, and good schedules. Even with those, however, there are still
going to be some times when vehicles break down, or a track problem
slows down service.
