MARTA to Implement Service Changes and Improvements, August 25

MARTA will implement service changes on a number of bus routes on Saturday, August 25, 2012, to improve overall service and on-time performance for customers. For more information, visit www.itsmarta.com or call 404.848.5000.

2 - Ponce De Leon Avenue / Moreland Avenue Schedule Only	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
4 - Thomasville / Moreland Avenue Schedule Only	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
5 - Piedmont Road / Sandy Springs Schedule Only	Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
6 - Emory Schedule Only	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
12 - Howell Mill / Cumberland Map \| Schedule	Weekdays	Direct service within the IBM Complex was discontinued effective June 26, 2012 due to the closure of the building. All other trip times and service frequencies remain unchanged.
15 - South DeKalb / Candler Road Schedule Only	Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
16 - Noble Map \| Schedule	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
21 - Memorial Drive Map \| Schedule	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
26 - Perry Boulevard / North Avenue Schedule Only	Weekdays & Saturdays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
30 - LaVista Road Map \| Schedule	Weekdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
49 - McDonough Boulevard Schedule Only	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	The weekdays night (after 7:00PM) service frequency will be improved from 40 to 30 minutes. Trip times will be revised to accommodate the frequency change and improve schedule adherence on all service days. All other service frequencies remain unchanged.
51 - Joseph E. Boone Boulevard / Dixie Hills Map \| Schedule	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
66 - Lynhurst Drive / Barge Road Park & Ride Map \| Schedule	Weekdays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
71 - Cascade Road Map \| Schedule	Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
73 - Fulton Industrial Map \| Schedule	Weekdays	The departure times from Hamilton E. Holmes Station between 6:42AM and 6:12PM will be revised to improve rail to bus connectivity. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
86 - Fairington Road / McAfee Road Map \| Schedule	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged. Additionally, the current stop location within the GRTA Panola Road Park & Ride will be relocated to the GRTA passenger pavilion location on the main passenger platform to provide a more customer friendly environment for passengers to board and alight buses. Bus signage will be posted to direct passengers to the appropriate boarding locations. The stop near Walgreen's will no longer be utilized to board or alight patrons.
107 - Glenwood Road Map \| Schedule	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
117 - Rockbridge Road / Panola Road Panola Rd Bay Change Alert	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	The current stop location within the GRTA Panola Road Park & Ride for Route 117 Northbound trips (to Kensington Station) will be relocated to the GRTA passenger pavilion location on the main passenger platform to provide a more customer friendly environment for passengers to board and alight buses. Route 117 Southbound trips (to Fairington Parkway) will continue to board and alight patrons at the current location Bus signage will be posted to direct passengers to the appropriate boarding locations. The stop near Walgreen's will no longer be utilized to board or alight patrons.
121 - Stone Mountain / Memorial Drive Map \| Schedule	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
125 - Clarkston / Northlake Map \| Schedule	Weekdays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
126 - Northlake / Chamblee Map \| Schedule	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	The weekday service frequency will be improved from 45 to 40 minutes until 7:00PM. The night (after 7:00PM) service frequency remains unchanged at 60 minutes. Trip times will be revised to accommodate the frequency change and improve schedule adherence on all service days. Saturday and Sunday service frequencies remain unchanged.
143 - Windward Park & Ride Schedule Only	Weekdays	The 5:20PM trip departing North Springs Station will be revised to depart at 5:25PM to improve rail to bus connectivity. All other trip times and service frequencies remain unchanged.
162 - Headland Drive / Alison Court Schedule Only	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
172 - Sylvan Road / Virginia Avenue Schedule Only	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
185 - Alpharetta / Holcomb Bridge Road Schedule Only	Weekdays	The 2:28PM trip departing Windward Park & Ride will be revised to depart at 2:20PM to improve bus to rail connectivity. All other trip times and service frequencies remain unchanged.
186 - Rainbow Drive / South DeKalb Map \| Schedule	Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays	Trip times will be revised to improve schedule adherence. The service frequencies remain unchanged.
