MARTA’S PUBLIC HEARING
RESCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 18
Clayton County meeting
canceled due to storm
ATLANTA—The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) has rescheduled a public hearing for Monday, Sept. 18 at 374 Valley Hill Rd. in Riverdale. Proposed bus service modifications will be discussed during the hearing. The previously scheduled public hearing was
canceled due to inclement weather.
MARTA representatives will be on hand for a community exchange session beginning at 6 p.m. followed by public hearings at 7 p.m.
MARTA regularly evaluates bus route performance including scheduling, on-time performance, ridership and safety. Modifications were recommended based on feedback received from customers and the Authority’s service analysis. All service modifications accepted by MARTA’s
Board of Directors will become effective Dec. 9, 2017.

Copies of the proposed bus service modifications will also be available at MARTA’s headquarters in the Office of External Affairs, at 2424 Piedmont Road, Atlanta, Ga. 30324, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
