MARTA opened a new parking deck at Medical Center
Station in November. Portions of the deck are only
accessible for St. Joseph’s Hospital employees
and visitors, while the other level will be available
for MARTA customers. Approximately 200 spaces are
available for patron use.
The St. Joseph’s Hospital parking area will require
a parking fee. Parking in the MARTA level will be
free, but will require entry into the faregates of
Medical Center Station. To park free at Medical Center
Station, a customer must take a parking ticket upon
entry into the deck.
The MARTA customer must then enter the faregates at
Medical Center Station and validate the parking ticket
in the ticket-validating machine located just inside
the faregates. A ticket must be validated in order
to exit the deck.
There will be no long-term (longer than 24 hours)
parking at Medical Center Station. Dunwoody Station
offers the nearest long-term parking.
