Executive Director of the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity
Reginald K. Diamond is the Executive Director of the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity with the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority. He is principally responsible for the administration and implementation of all programmatic aspects of the Authority’s Environmental Justice, Title VI, Title VII, Contract Compliance, ADA, Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Programs.
Mr. Diamond holds a Master of Science Degree in Urban Administration and Decision Making from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Clark College in Atlanta, Georgia. He has also taken advanced courses related to public administration and transportation planning at American University in Washington, DC.
He has been in the civil rights arena for 21 years and he has held a multiplicity of different positions. Those positions include the following in both the public and private sector:

Mr. Diamond is affiliated with the National Association of Minority Contractors- Georgia Chapter, Greater Atlanta Economic Alliance, Atlanta Business League, Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council, Latin American Association, Mexican American Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO), Women’s Economic Development Agency, Asian American Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Women Entrepreneurs, Georgia Women’s Business Council and the Native American Media.
He is also an accomplished trainer with experience in both the private and public sector.
